Eastern Parkway Shop

Designed and constructed in 2024, this retail space for the Brooklyn Museum emphasised modularity and customisation to meet the varying retail needs that accompanied a rotating exhibition calendar. The shop also realigned focus on artist objects and brand collaborations by providing dedicated spaces for representation.

Virgil Abloh: "Figures of Speech" Campaign

2022
Virgil Abloh
New York, NY

For the 2022 edition of Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition, I created an ad campaign that reflected Abloh’s early Off-White work with nods to his architecture past. I sourced talent and set pieces, in addition to directed final video edits and coloring.

AA Speakers 001

My ever-present passion for sound system culture led me to design and build these speakers as a personal exploration into audio design and woodworking. After being inspired by the work of NYC native and audio designer Devon Ojas, I used his Art Bookshelf Speaker concept as a jumping off point for my own custom design. The speakers were designed from the ground up to house Tannoy drivers as well as accommodate my limited access to woodworking machinery.

Brooklyn Museum Shop Website

In preparation of the Brooklyn Museum's first major rebrand in over a decade, I was tasked with redesigning and building a completely new ecommerce site from the ground up. Based on the new logo, the dot motif was used extensively across the site as tags, buttons, and navigation items to cohesively blend retail priorities with complex brand guidelines.

Spike Lee's Crooklyn Bodega

Spike Lee’s Crooklyn Bodega was a retail pop-up that accompanied his landmark show Creative Sources at the Brooklyn Museum in 2023. I designed this pair of mobile kiosks to highlight exclusive merchandise from his brand Spike’s Joint and new products that accompanied the exhibition.

Brooklyn Museum Café Branding

For its 200th anniversary, the Brooklyn Museum underwent a number of capital projects that revamped the historic beaux arts building. The lobby of the museum transformed into a brand new cafe concept, replacing its old restaurant. To accompany this historic transformation I reinterpreted the museum’s branding to accompany this new vibrant social space.
